Rewards at Stanground Academy

Reward Trips

Towards the end of the academic year, we are planning on running reward trips for all students. There will be a wide variety of options available at a range of costs.

To find out more information about our Carnival Week, including costs and approximate timings of the Reward trips, please see the booklet below.

ASPIRE points

Students are awarded ASPIRE points in lessons and around the academy. This can range from working hard in lessons to holding a door open for another student or staff in the academy. These points are then automatically turned into spendable points which can be spent in the academy’s rewards store.

Flash Rewards

Our flash reward programme takes place throughout the academic year. This involves a specific two-week period where students gain 'flash' tokens for being amazing around our academy. This could be for working hard in lessons, actively taking part in class discussions, being a good friend, helping a member of staff, helping around the academy, showing an improvement in their attitude and behaviour, and so much more.

These tokens are drawn at the end of the two weeks and a wide range of prizes are given out. Our most recent top prize was a 9th generation iPad followed by Amazon, love2shop and showcase cinema vouchers, Peterborough United tickets, snacks for your form and whole year group non-uniform days.

#caughtbeinggood tokens

Students can earn these tokens during social time at break and lunch. These are then exchanged at our rewards store for a on-the spot reward. The rewards consist of fun-sized chocolates and sweets, Hot chocolate with marshmallows and ice cream in the summer months.

This could be for being a good friend, helping a member of staff, helping around the academy, showing an improvement in their attitude and behaviour, and so much more.

Rewards store

The store has a variety of items which can be purchased by students in all year-groups. These items range from pens and pencils to football and rugby balls, plus school cinema and non-uniform passes. There is also a wide selection of revision resources to support our student’s preparation for their exams.

Students can purchase their items using the Class Charts app or website www.classcharts.com and they are delivered the following week during tutorial time.
