GCSE Results 2022

Staff at the Academy are looking forward to celebrating with students on Thursday 25 August.

This August young people will be receiving their GCSE and A-level exam results.  This group of young people have had a very challenging couple of years, with lockdowns, home learning, restrictions and negotiating the pressures of a pandemic, on top of exam preparation.

On 25 August (GCSE results day) let’s take the time to think of these young people and tell them “Well Done!”  because they should be proud of how hard they’ve worked, and the unprecedented resilience they have shown, whatever their result.

NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough have been working with Local Authority Public Health Colleagues to put together a social media toolkit and printable flyer.  The printable flyer is going to be shared across schools in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough to be handed out to students receiving their results.  The flyer is to remind students to be proud of the work they have put in over the past two years – whatever the results. It also includes a simple message that if the result is not what they were expecting, there are people on hand to offer advice and guidance.  The flyer also signposts to local and national help if they are anxious or struggling with their mental health.  #LifeIsMoreThanAGrade
